for schools

Learning environments in the Canopy project represent the seeds of a vibrant movement to reinvent public education as a resilient, equitable system that nurtures the unique potential of every student. This movement needs support to take root, demonstrate efficacy, and spread.

  • Connect with other innovators, including school leaders from the Canopy dataset, in the Transcend Design Community (TDC) where you can network, share, and discover new innovative practices.

  • The Canopy project’s data portal is a quick, easy way to search for schools pursuing innovations you want to learn more about.

  • Are you a member of Education Leaders of Color? Watch our webinar on Building Inclusive, Student-Centered Learning Environments for Multilingual Students.

  • Do you want your school to feature in the Canopy data portal? Partner with a nominating organization. Nominated schools will receive an annual survey link via email.

  • You may already have a relationship with an existing nominator. Encourage them to nominate you in the upcoming cycle!
See our full list of participating organizations here: https://canopyschools.org/about-us.

  • If not, your other option is to encourage an organization missing from that list to sign up as a nominator. Eligible nominating organizations work with innovative K-12 schools, but are not a school, district, or charter network themself. We will reach out to them with a survey in our next nomination cycle.
